How do rabbits communicate?
Rabbits are social creatures who use a variety of vocalizations for communication. Growling, grunting, and snorting all have different meanings depending on the situation an individual rabbit is in or feeling at any given time; however, sound can also be made by rabbits through their nasal cavity which may give off some interesting species-specific “hmmphs” when they’re angry (growl), stressed out (snort) threatened with something that scares them(bark) attracted sexually from another female around ovulation time.
